This post is all about the Covergirl vitalist elixer Foundation. I believe this Foundation was created in 2017.
I discovered this Foundation when I took a trip to my local supermarket (the Supercenter) when I noticed that there were more options in shades.
I was a true MAC girl and I thought about it and realized that one of my main reasons why I chose to use Mac products was because they have a huge selection of different shades, and they had my shade.
I was not used to finding my shade anywhere else. So when I did find the shade in the Covergirl vitalist elixir Foundation, I decided to give it a try.
By far this is one of my favorite foundations, after taking a few pics with it on I really liked the way that I looked and I decided that it was a keeper .
Now the concealer I use is also from Covergirl and the shade is medium.
Again I’ve been using the Mac concealer, but I wanted to try something different because I didn’t like being restricted to one brand only what if Mac went out of business then what would I do?
The concealer stick from Covergirl was nice aswell. I loved the way that I looked when I took selfies of myself and you could see a picture below what it looks like.
The only thing that I don’t like about this Foundation is that they stopped selling it my supermarket and all and they’re all out of the stock when I went to go and look online for it.
So now I’m on the hunt looking for another great Foundation after all that discovering a nice Foundation.
And only to find out that it was discontinued. What was the whole point of getting this Foundation?
The thing that I don’t like about drugstore makeup is that they don’t last long and they discontinue the product so quickly. This is such a bummer.
Maybe that’s why they are priced so low, I might have to go back to my trusty Mac Foundation because they seldom discontinue their product and maybe do so after 10 years do I find that they discontinue their products.
As always when I apply the Covergirl Foundation, I use a beauty blender just in case you were wondering there will be another blog post about the beauty blender coming soon.
And the eyeshadow that I had on in the picture below was the Covergirl “the naked” eye shadow palette in jewels.
I hope that you found this article helpful and want to encourage you to try drugstore make up every now and then just to compare the difference.
