Today I wanted to share a quick and easy way to make my favorite drink the caramel macchiato.
This is a drink that you can buy from Starbucks. It’s also one of my favorite drinks from Starbucks.
It has taken me a couple of years to master making this drink on my own but after a few tweaks here and there taste almost the same.
What you will need:
Half a cup of milk
5 pumps of vanilla syrup
2 tablespoons of moanin sea salt caramel and toffee sauce
shot of whipped cream
one shot of espresso
one and a half ounces of espresso grinds.
You can get the vanilla syrup from Amazon, but I usually go to my local Starbucks and by the bottle of syrup there.
Also, you can up the amount of espresso to a total Two Shots.
It’s completely up to you .
In order to heat up the milk to a boil the way that I do at Starbucks, you are going to need a steamer.
The only one that I use comes with an espresso maker and steamer.
It’s the most basic one, for those that want to save money and are looking for an affordable way to make Starbucks drinks at home. You can purchase your own here.
After adding water to the reservoir and waiting for the light indicator, steam half a cup of milk.
You might have to discard the extra Frost that it comes that it forms on top with a spoon because it can be a lot.
The rest is really simple just add five pumps of vanilla to a mug.
The amount of of pumps is also your choice. I personally use 7.
Squeeze two tablespoons of caramel sauce and mix it with the vanilla sauce.
This adds more flavor pour the steamed milk into the same mug, then you will prepare your espresso and pour the shot on top of the milk top it with whipped cream.
And there you have it and caramel macchiato that tastes just like is from Starbucks. Enjoy.
