Now that I have my clip in hair extensions, I now have some extra length, which is something that I don’t mind having every now and then.
I mean my real hair is not that short but it’s nice to add extra length, especially when I want to go glam.
Sorry to go off topic, but now that I have these clip-in extensions, I’ve been wanting to add some curls to my hair so that I can look like Porsche or Kenya Moore on The Housewives of Atlanta just an example.
I really liked that show by the way, and I’m also a huge Have Kenya Moore because she’s a dark skinned like me .
To add those glamorous curls to my hair. I was on a hunt for a really good curling iron, but because of the deadly covid-19 virus ,I was restricted from going to my local Walmart and I did not want to have to wait two hours to get access to the department store.
So I had a few options I chose to go to Sally’s Beauty Supply. There was no hassle there and no lineup.
There were a few options the first one was Hotshot tools barrel curling iron price at a hefty $75.
This was way out of my price range. And so I kept looking ,next up was the ion Titanium Pro curling iron, which was priced at around $60.
Again this iron was out of my price range. Then I saw a curling iron made by one’n only priced at $45.
It was also the lowest price iron. I was in a rush and figured that this was my only option right now if I wanted poppin curls.
I quickly forked over the fifty dollars for the iron and went back home.
When I first tried out this iron. I noticed that the curls didn’t really hold .
And to my surprise it is an iron that heats up to a temperature 450 degrees, which is the same temperature that my flat iron gets to.
I had some hairspray lying around and sprayed some into my hair before curling.
I must say that this made a huge difference and I can now flaunt that Hollywood hairstyle in the comfort of my own home.
A part of me still wants to try the barrel curling iron made by Hotshot tools and see if it makes a difference at all because I feel that one ‘n only barrel curling iron do not hold curl as much as I wanted.
All in all I would give this iron eight out of 10 stars because it is an iron that gets really hot, but did not deliver the kind of hold that I wanted.
