I have never really been a fan of makeup primers and would usually use a face lotion.
The lotion that I’m using right now is a moisturizing face cream made by Marcel.
I also find that this lotion is very hydrating.
I have started to like using primers because I don’t end up using up my face lotion too much making it last longer.
So far I found that my regular moisturizer does a great job at hydrating my skin.
Which is something that my skin didn’t need when it comes to applying foundation.
I did some research online and found that the main difference between face creams and primers is that the lotion is specifically used to hydrate the upper layers of your skin.
And a primer on the other hand is designed to maximize makeup products such as Foundation.
Today I’m currently using the Covergirl trublend business skin primer.
It is priced at a reasonable price at around $10.
Cover girl also has six different types of primers which are :
1. Trublend base business skin primer-skin smoothing
2. Color neutralizing
They have such a vast selection of facial primers that made it very difficult to choose which one was suitable for me.
But I chose the skin smoothing primer because I’m a fan of smooth skin.
So far, I really like this primer. It does its job at maximizing the appearance of my makeup and I would definitely recommend this primer if you are looking for something affordable and that is of good quality.
I have still yet to try the other brand name primers because primers are still a new part of my makeup routine.
But I hope that this review has helped you on deciding which breaker primer to use.
