There are many Benefits of 20 Minute Walk Daily during these times of the covid-19 pandemic, walking is a form of exercise that can help prevent this virus and I’m going to explain how walking 20 minutes a day can be more beneficial to you and can also stop the spread of this deadly disease.
It is known that exercise can boost the immune system.
Physical activity helps to flush out bacteria from our lungs and airways.
Exercise also causes a change in the antibodies and white blood cells and increases blood flow .
White blood cells are the body’s immune system cells that help to fight viruses and disease .
The onset of covid-19 has also increased our stress levels and anxiety ,and so it is beneficial to go out for a walk as exercise can also stimulate vessels in the brain and release stress .
Walking everyday can also be beneficial to your mental health and calorie burn.
Studies show that exercising everyday will give you a calmer mind and also improves depression symptoms.
Covid-19 has also had a larger impact on older adults and doing movement and exercise can reduce your risk of frailty.
A mixture of resistance strength and balancing exercises are the most effective at combating this disease.
Exercise can also expedite the recovery and time to heal from covid-19.
Walking, which is also a low impact activity pumps nutrients into the soft tissues of the body which speeds up the recovery of this deadly disease .
Deep breathing is also an exercise that you can practice which can remove fluid accumulating in the lungs preventing covid-19.
My husband and I just started walking together since the COVID-19 and I am loving it. Pre-Covid I used to walk alone for the benefits, but since he’s working from home we are both doing it together. I am up to 5 miles now, my goal is 7.
