Revlon Colorstay Creme Eyeshadow
Hello everyone hope your doing well on a winter day today. I just wanted to remind you that I created this blog to bring you the latest beauty tips and products that are also affordable and easy on the wallet.
I love to share my thoughts on really great products that you might not have even noticed or didn’t have the time too even notice.
That being said, my latest beauty find was at walmart. I found a cream eyeshadow made by revlon. It goes for around $8.00 at Walmart which I find to be pretty cheap and I also wanted to let you know that you should get this product at Walmart because anywhere else it is around $13.00. I sometimes forget about all of the deals that you can get at Walmart, but I am here to remind you that there are still some great deals that you can get at this retail outlet.
Back to my latest beauty find. The cream eyeshadow that I discovered by Revlon is called the Colorstay creme eyeshadow. I bought one in the color “orchid” and the other in “pistachio”.
Now I am a fan of creme eyeshadows and remember a few years ago, MAC had some creme eyeshadows that I loved to use. I had one in a dark green shade that I love to wear when I was younger.
The Revlon colorstay creme eyeshadow reminded me of that I eyeshadow by MAC , so I decided to try it.
The Revlon colorstay creme eyeshadow claims that it last up to 24 hours and gives a matte/shimmer color. It also comes with a brush that makes application less messy in comparison with applying with your fingertips.
And this eyeshadow comes in 18 shades, with 6 new bold shades.
The shade that I tested out which was orchid, and I applied it with the brush. I found that the brush does come in handy and is not as messy as it would be if you applied with your fingers.

The only thing that I noticed with this shade is that , I could barely see any color. The purple shade was barely noticeable and it looked like I had applied silver eyeshadow. It might also have to do with my skin tone which is dark, so it would probably not show up on darker skin tones, that is just an estimated guess and I have not tested it one a lighter skin tone.
The second shade that I bought was “Pistachio” which is a green-based creme eyeshadow. The color showed up more in this shade, and I think I will be keeping this shade and taking “orchid back”. I am definitely satisfied with the performance of this shade, and I plan on getting a goldish shade to replace the “orchid” shade.
Overall, I liked this product, the creme eyeshadow is a win win for me. I am a fan of creme eyeshadows but I also do wiish that Revlon would add more pigment to their creme eyeshadows or you would find me back at MAC cosmetics, where they do offer some great creme eyeshadows. Also, some shades work better than others, so it is best if you experiment with the shades and pick out the best ones that Revlon has to offer.
