HUDA Beauty Mint Palette Swatches
Huda Mint Palette
Today’s blog post is all about eyeshadow! Good quality eyeshadow. I’m not talking about the one that you kind at the drug store. To me , eyeshadow from the drugstore is a no go for me. I never liked the way it would perform on my eyes, and it really didn’t do much justice for me.
I was introduced to MAC make up at a young age, and the switch from MAC eyeshadow , to drugstore eyeshadow was very disappointing.
Now that Sephora has been around for a few years now, I am finding that they carry makeup brands that offer great quality pallettes. My latest discovery from Sephora was HUDA Beauty. I did a blog post previously on the Nude pallette that came out last year.

So far, this eyeshadow is one of my favorites and the eyeshadow that comes in the Nude palette seems that it will last a long time. I’m not one to buy many eyeshadows and so far this palette goes a long way. Since it it has a lot of neutral shades, it is my go to eyeshadow palette that I usually run to for a subtle yet dramatic look.
Anyways, after playing around with this palette, I noticed the Pastel shades that she brought out last year as well which is called the Pastel Obsession Eyeshadow Palette. The reason why I haven’t gotten around to posting about this shade, is because I haven’t had the time to post about it.
Now that I have some time, I can write about my thoughts about this pallette. I decided to buy the pallette in Mint mainly because it stood out to me. The other options were in pink pastels and purple pastels. The shimmer in the Mint pallette really stood out on my skin tone.
In the sample below , I am wearing the Turquoise Mint Swirl , Mint shimmer and, Apple green eyeshadow. To be honest I have to share that I really need to brush up on my eyeshadow skills and am considering taking a course in makeup to get better at my skills. So it might not look as great or the colors may not appear to show up in the picture, but I really liked the shimmer in the Turquoise Mint Swirl. As I get better I will post comparison pictures, but so far this palette is a keeper.
The downside of this palette is that it is all sold out a Sephora (which must also be a good thing) meaning that I am not the only one that is a fan of this palette, but all of the pastel obsession Palettes are sold out! Which amazes me, but I will still post the affiliate link just in case you are reading this post at a different time than it was posted. I hope you enjoyed.
