Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb Review

It is one of my most favorite highlighters on the market right now. It all started with a visit to my drugstore’s beauty boutique. I was looking for something with shimmer in it, and that would make me sparkle . I asked the beauty expert working there what she would recommend.

Her suggestion was the Stila Heaven’s Hue Highlighter. So this was my very first highlighter, and I was excited to have one. I was very unimpressed. I was not too fond of the consistency of the shimmer, and it didn’t even appear on my face.

My hunt for another great highlighter continued.

Then one day, while I was browsing for makeup at Sephora, I noticed that they have a travel-size version of what is called “Diamond Bomb” by Fenty beauty. I ended up getting it because there was a standard sample of it in the store. When I tried it on, I could see the highlighter on my skin.

So this post is all about this Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb Highlighter and why I love it so much.

What is Fenty beauty diamond bomb highlighter ?

The Fenty Beauty Diamond bomb is an all-over body and face and diamond-dusted highlighter. From the makers of Fenty Beauty, Rihanna has done it again and has created another great product.

This highlighter applies like a 3D glittering veil that adds sparkle and dimension to the menu.

If you don’t know by now, highlighting is an essential step in contouring the face, reflecting light, and adding angles and depth to the look.

I haven’t used the diamond bomb as an actual highlighter and have mainly used it as a body shimmer. I love to sparkle, and this product does just that and makes me glow.

How Does It Work?

Like I mentioned in the previous section, the diamond bomb is a highlighter used to contour the face. It’s a shimmering 3d formula that is pretty easy to apply, and you can easily use your fingers to apply a fair amount of this diamond powder to your face and neck and on your body too.

I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a glittery look. As I said, it is much better than the Stila Heaven’s hue highlighter , which was my first highlighter. It also melts into skin like a dream!

I discovered this look that the diamond bomb offers after watching a celebrity on youtube and saw that she had sparkles on her body. The first thing that I did was go to MAC and asked if they had something similar as described. But to my avail, they didn’t have it. I am so glad that I went to Sephora that day and discovered the Diamond bomb there. It was exactly what I wanted.

Pros and Cons

I love this highlighter because it has pigment and a little bit goes a long way. I am also finding that I am not getting any allergic reaction to this highlighter . It doesn’t matter what time of day or season.

Another pro is that although I have the travel size, it seems to have an ample amount that could last me a few months, I like that it is also travel size! I can only imagine how long the standard size would last.

You can use this product as your basic highlighter, or you can use it as a body and face shimmer, which is typically what I do for that glow it delivers.

The cons of this product are that the silver shade is sensitive and tends to change color when you swipe it. The makeup that you use for foundation usually ends up on the palette and makes it look dirty.

Also, I was not too fond of the pricing for it and think that the standard size was too expensive. I am hesitant to buy the other shades because they could put a significant dent in my wallet.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I have gone over some of the critical benefits of this product. Fenty beauty diamond bomb highlighter is a highlighter that you can use as a highlighter or face and body shimmer.

It does a great job and delivers impressive results that only professional makeup artists would implement. I am genuinely so glad that I have found this highlighter. I would recommend it to anyone looking for that look that it delivers.

Using the Fenty beauty diamond bomb highlighter was easy, and you can apply it with your finger or with a highlighter brush. I usually use my fingers because when I use a brush, the effects are not as noticeable as when you are using your fingers.

The only thing that I would change about this product is that I would add the other shades and make them also travel for those who spend on a budget and would like to save money.

I also hope that they never discontinue this product, and I highly doubt that there will be another version of the Fenty beauty diamond bomb highlighter. It is truly a gem!
