Best Conditioner for Black Hair
Hey guys, it’s so glad to be back, today I wanted to talk about curly black hair again. Yes, Hair! Hair has always been an important part of my life and I have been through many phases with my hair. I’ve had perms, went natural and now I rock a texturized look. It has all of the benefits of being natural but less hassle and I also talked about it in another blog post, which you can read here.
Recently ,I went to my local beauty supply store and I decided to try the Organic Root Stimulator HAIRepair Nourishing Conditioner. I wanted to try it mainly because of the smell. I love the way that banana smells like a fragrance , so I had to try this conditioner. Banana also has great moisturizing elements that keep the hair nourished. Here are some more benefits of bananas for the hair.
Hair Conditioner Benefits :
- rich in potassium, vitamins, and natural oils.
- moisturizes the scalp.
- promotes hair elasticity.
- makes hair shinier and more manageable.
- prevents dandruff.
- protects against split ends and hair breakage.
- repairs sun-damaged hair.
- smoothes frizzy hair.
As you can see, banana has some really great benefits for the hair, and I also felt it as I was using the ORS hair repair nourishing conditioner the last time I washed my hair.
This conditioner is comparable to the Elasta QP Line. Elasta QP use to have a really good conditioner called DPR which was a moisturizing conditioner that was full of nutrients. My hair loved it! But now I see that they have discontinued this product and I’ve been on the hunt ever since.
The ORS Nourishing conditioner is similar to the Elasta QP DPR conditioner . They are both moisturizing conditioners and they both do fantastic jobs at moisturizing my hair, and providing slip. The ORS Nourishing conditioner did also smell great and I only left this conditioner is my hair for around 5 minutes. I have still yet to try this conditioner as a deep in conditioner and will post my results soon.
If I were to rate this product I would give it 10 stars because like I said earlier it really did condition my hair and provide slip. Not only that , but you can find it at your local drug store as well. The only thing that I didn’t like is that it only comes in a small-sized packet at the drug store. I’m not sure if it sells at other stores in a bottle but I will definitely keep you posted. And you should always pair your favorite conditioner with a great leave-in conditioner.
I am overall pleased with this product and would try it again!
