Natural Ways to Increase Blood Circulation to the Scalp to Boost Hair Growth Now
Today I wanted to talk about the various methods I promote hair growth, of course there are additional ways to approach this process, but one of the essential parts starts with the scalp.
While it is essential to take care of your hair internally, externally, etc., the primary area that I want to focus on is the scalp, as poor blood circulation can also hinder hair growth.
There are also varied natural ways to increase blood circulation to the scalp, however the first simple step starts with your critical scalp massage.
How to Increase Blood Circulation In Scalp
1. Scalp Massages
Scalp massages also increase hair thickness by stretching the cells of hair follicles and by stimulating the follicles and blood vessels to produce a thicker hair strand. They also improve blood circulation in the skin, boost hair growth hence preventing hair loss, I love to massage my scalp in circular motions 3 X a week and sometimes run a vent brush through my hair and on the scalp to stimulate it ,it gets the blood to flow to your scalp.
I also like to use a scalp brush to massage my scalp using a scalp brush allows me to massage my scalp mess-free and is more invigorating than a regular massage with your fingertips.
2. Cleanse Your Scalp
Washing your hair is another paramount part of promoting healthy hair growth and can foster a healthy scalp ,you may want to extend the time between washes for coarse hair because of how dry the hair can be. Also, use a scalp massager while you wash your hair to help slough off dead skin cells and grime. I like to cleanse my hair every two weeks, this allows my hair to stay hydrated in-between washes, and I always make sure to scrub my scalp when it is time to cleanse it. You can also take a cold shower when cleansing your scalp as this will get the blood ciruclating in the scalp.
Recently received a scalp massager that you can operate in the shower ,it’s by a company called Hairstory. I love this scalp scrub, it feels wonderful when you use it on your scalp, and I also don’t get my hands dirty when trying to rub scalp treatments with fingertips.
3. Use Essential Oils
Essential oils are also helpful in encouraging proper blood circulation to the scalp. Oils such as peppermint and the carrier oil castor oil are two prevailing oils that stimulate the scalp, I enjoy to use pre-mixed oils in everyday household hair products, such as the ORS HAIRepair coconut oil and baobab oil that contains critical oils that promote hair growth and stimulate my scalp.
I also like to use argan oil with a dropper tool on my scalp, now and then, I can feel the blood flowing through my scalp and know that my hair is growing. Oils also provide the scalp with the proper nourishment it needs.
4. Hair Growth Stimulators
Hair growth Stimulators are another type of product that I use on my scalp, I use them once a week and apply after I have just washed, blowdried, and flat ironed my hair. They are also serums containing robust ingredients backed by ancient science.
They also energize the hair follicles, promote a healthy scalp, and contain essential oils and vitamins to promote more blood circulation to the scalp.
One of my favorite Hair Growth Serums is a relatively new product that my scalp has been devoted to ,the Creme of nature Aloe and Black Castor Oil root recharge serum . I value it and recommend this for someone who wants to treat their scalp it is pretty reasonable and around $10. While I did not notice much hair growth, it revitalized my scalp.
This product mainly consists of aloe and black castor oil, as it says in the product depiction. While aloe does not have many hair growth uses, aloe is an outstanding natural ingredient to use on your scalp to fight dandruff the natural way.
5. Proper Diet
You are what you eat, proper diet is also another facet that involves sufficient treatment from the inside and out. You can start with a suitable multivitamin and make sure that you take it daily, then you must also be mindful of your daily food intake to benefit from this.
Foods such as chicken, beef, fish, mushrooms, brown rice, peanuts, and avocados contain all the nutrients you need to facilitate hair growth. If eating plants daily is not your specialty, you may want to invest in a juicer, by juicing, you can now eat larger quantities of fruits and veggies with out spending the duration out of your days, and drink it instead!
6. Practice Yoga for Circulation
Another simple yet influential way is bending your head forward as you sit in a chair or lying flat on a bed on your back, with your head tilted off the end of the bed for 5 minutes. Alternatively, if you want to take things to another tier, you can also practice yoga, which involves positioning the head upside down.
Positions such as the downward facing dog are similar to the exercises I mentioned previously, but you are also reaping the health benefits of exercising simultaneously. Practicing this position encourages blood circulation to the head by allowing gravity to increase blood flow.
7. Wild Growth Hair Oil
Like I noted previously, you can use hair serums and essential oils to stimulate the scalp to provoke hair growth, another topical treatment that you can use is wild growth hair oil.
I have heard so many satisfactory things about this product and that it has helped other women increase their hair growth production by 50%.
As for me, on a personal note, I will be venturing on a hair challenge that involves applying wild growth hair oil to my scalp three times per week (or as directed on the bottle) to see if it performs for me, it has worked for numerous other women, so why not me.
The ingredients of this hair oil are loaded with nutrients, vitamins, and minerals that the hair requires, it contains the oils of coconut oil, olive oil, jojoba, rice bran, cocoa butter, pomegranate, rosehip, and pumpkin seed. It also comprises the essential oils of sage, eucalyptus, frankincense, geranium, grapefruit, lavender, and peppermint oil, to name a few.
So far, I enjoy the way it makes my scalp tingle at night, so far I have solely been using it for a week now and am noticing some growth.
On another note, I have noticed that my hair grows very slow since I have a thyroid condition. I am only noticing 2 ½ inches of new growth per year, the average amount of hair growth is 4- 6 inches. So I need a boost, and I believe this hair oil will help me.
Also, one con that I did hear is that this hair oil has an unpleasant fragrance. In other words, it reeks, for me it takes time to adapt. When I first bought this hair oil a few years back, the fragrance did irritate me, now I can handle it, and I don’t think it is that foul and smells comparable to noxzema, a skincare product that I used when I was younger.
I still use noxzema to this day, but it is not my go-to product. On a final note, this hair growth oil is pretty reasonable, you can also find beauty supplies around you and not only find them online, it is only $12 for a bottle.
You can go through one bottle quickly, so the pricing is excellent if you need a few extra bottles.
8. Canvas Blossom Serum
This hair oil is similar to wild growth hair oil, and I have also heard wonderful reviews about this hair growth oil, for example, I searched for this product on youtube and found one Youtuber stating how amazing she gained 1 ½ inches in one month.
On the other hand, wild growth hair oil only gave her ½ an inch.
But this hair oil I am witnessing is more on the pricy side and can run you $24 for one bottle. It is also only obtainable online, and not many brick-and-mortar shops carry this hair oil.
Another fascinating fact is that this hair oil has a delightful fragrance compared to the wild growth hair oil. So if smelling pleasing is your thing, then this hair oil may be the best option.
If you’ve felt like your scalp has not been as nutritious and hydrated as it could be, there are a few natural ways to increase blood circulation to the scalp.
